How to Spend a Weekend with Kids in … ROTORUA!

Rotorua - the place that when you get out of the car, you all look at each other and say “Who farted?!” Well, I have to break it to you, it was no one. It is the sulphur. Rotorua is known for its geothermal activity which brings up the smell. At first it isn’t pleasant, it smells like rotten eggs, but after a while it grows on you. But it doesn’t matter anyway, because there is so much to do and see in Rotorua that you won't be just standing there taking in the smell for very long! You just arrive in Rotorua, after driving or flying, and the kids need to get some of that energy out of them after being cooped up for so long. Your first stop has to be Velocity Valley Adventure Park. Offering six unique rides suitable for different ages (and fear levels). The shweeb is a must. Hop in and start peddling as you speed up to 50km per hour as you race suspended above the ground. Insane! After the Adventure Park, it is time for a relaxing walk and some lunch.
